The company

Located in the middle of the Vosges, Company AGRESTA is specialized in the wood cutting since 1977.

Strong of this experiment of the transformation of wood, the company takes a new dimension in 1996 and decides to make its raw material a material of innovation intended for the construction trade and many environmental applications.

Since the company experiences a development growing holding a position of leader on his branch of industry: the mineral-bearing and stabilized wood particle.

The performances of this material as regards applications to the construction trade today are recognized, approved and validated by a technical opinion of the CSTB: the “wood nugget” of AGRESTA became a treasure of high technology…

The maintenance of the forest

“To make of its industrial activity an ecological implication”

The wood intended for the manufacture of the Stabilized Particle of AGRESTA is collected on the place of production, in the middle of the Vosges.

The collected logs do not exceed 25 cm in diameter. It is about wood of breaks resulting from the maintenance work from the forest : first regulation of AGRESTA in its implication with the development of an ecological industry.

The traceability

“To ensure the traceability of a raw material guarantee first transformation”.

The wood particle of AGRESTA is manufactured starting from one only wood turpentine: the spruce. To guarantee a perfectly controlled quality and a stability of the product, waste of sawmills in which various gasolines and various degrees of ageing mix does not enter the schedule of conditions of AGRESTA. In the same way, no wood of recycling is transformed with the factory for two dependent reasons:

- the absence of traceability

- ignorance of the treatments or polluting uses that wood could have undergone during its preceding uses.

Environment

“To make environment the base of the growth of the industrial activity of AGRESTA”.

Beyond the systematic search of écologiquede quality the raw material and its transformation, AGRESTA registers its economic growth in a strat " gie of scientific ecology, i.e. in the development of products of high technology to the service of the environmental protection.
